...
And severe weather it did.
...

The rain poured heavily from the sky this afternoon. One minute I was in the car, the next minute tree branches were everywhere.

Cars were avoiding fallen debris, dashing pedestrians as well as each other. Matilda Bay was a scene of chaos.

Up blown umbrellas, catching fallen rain.

Two tree branches fell on top of Vy's car, thank God no damage resulted. The loud 'bang' as tree branches hit the car roof resonates in my head still.

Puddles of muddy rain water collected in every corner.

When the rain subsided, I ventured out from my sheltering spot and walked along Matilda Bay. This swan seemed least of all affected by the storm just minutes ago. It happily splashed about in the river, without a care in the world.

Grey sky with a touch a purple. So beautiful that I must capture it and keep for ever.

After a heavy rain, everything seemed fresher. Truly enjoying the calm after the storm.

While on the other side of perth:

Yorkie: The wind made his window go "Whaaahooo".
Adrian: Massive tree branch in bush court crashed down.
Truc: Branches fell on cars. Got really excited.
Rowena: In Mandurah, being entertained by someone from her office.
Lilian: Heard the storm even being on level 37. Felt sorry for the birds which had no where to hide as they fly. Thought the wings were going to break. Thanked God for bringing her lunch today.
Caleb: Had a leaking office. Wished that the power would go out in his office because that would've been fun.
Yorkie: Thinks Caleb's office is shabby. Imagined pots and buckets everywhere in Caleb's office.
Selina: Office had a blackout. Caleb's wish came true but not for him.

...

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
Luke 8:24
