A, B, AB, and O little people

"A blood type is a classification of blood based on the presence or absence of inherited antigenic substances on the surface of red blood cells (RBCs)." - (Wikipedia 2008)

I fail to see from the above definition how personality traits can be influenced by different blood types - a huge phenomenon in the Asian culture, most of us are aware of which blood group we belong to. Books and programs such as blood type and diet, blood type and food, blood type and blah blah are available for those who would like the option.

You see, I am a type B, the type that supposedly is the most practical of the blood groups, specialist in what I do. Relaxed, freewheeling and are less than cooperative as I like to follow my own rules and my own ideas. Individualists and pay more attention to thoughts than feelings. Therefore can sometimes seem cold and serious. Just because of my blood, I am also supposedly straight foward, creative, flexible, adaptable and do not dwell over little things. If my blood could talk, I should also become a military leader, hairdresser, talk show host or golfer.

Well, those certainly aren't my career of first choice that's for sure.

As for my two cents, interesting but the correlation should stay within the medical field alone :)

Just for a bit of laugh, below are a couple of cartoon strips that I came across on the world wide web (links are at the bottom of the pictures). Unfortunately the cartoons are not english, english, so put your best imaginations to work!
