Happy Year of the Rat!

Chinese New Year is a 15 day long celebration for those who eat rice almost every meal! This year, the Suns have decided to break away from the traditional lobster & mud crab feast for all-you-can-eat goodness at Atrium, Burswood. They say great minds think alike, so the like-minded Chengs challenged us to an eat-off. Here are some photos:-

New Comp is always sweet

Yesterday after 6 hours of hard labour, my new comp's finally up and running thanks to Stevie + Harry (thanks boys)! Execpt for when both kept shaking their heads saying... "man... this is so wasted on your sister" with every part that gets put in. Well I think NOT, don't worry guys, I give them a good home, put them to good use :)

So now, I'm learning how to use Vista. Loving the gadgets, it's rather intriging. Especially love the yellow post-it notes as I do use them quite a bit. Bluetooth hasn't worked yet... Microsoft Office 2007 not installed... actually, not much has been installed at all yet I love it... hehe talk about contention :)

This is the girliest comp I've had so far. The case they chose for me is so cute :) it's got locks & a "flap" door & piano sonata finish. so shiny & glossy!

What can I say, I am blessed to have such a nice brother :)

Press on in the Lord

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14

As I was flipping my Bible today thinking which book to read, I came across the above 2 verses with little blue scribbles "theme verse Nanga National camp 2003". Wow, I'd wrote that 4 1/2 years ago... but... how much has my life changed since then? have I been "reaching forth unto those things which are before"?

When I think of the word reach, I picture someone stretching out as far as it takes in order to grasp the object in mind. whether the object be something tangible or intangible such as a goal, that outward exertion of force and display of will is undeniable. In applying that to my spiritual life, I am ashamed to say not much reachie-ness has happened. Like Paul, I ought to have my energy absorbed in reaching this goal of following Christ, to live in the glorious hope of Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To obey and to be faithful.

I thank God for revealing this precious lesson to me tonight, it is my prayer that the Lord will give me the wisdom to choose the things which are not seen.

Yes, that's right, I have announced an official comeback after a nice long, long break! Some might celebrate, others less than impressed... so what are you doing reading this then eh? :) hehe but I'm sure there's enough love out there for a small, inconsistent blogger such as I!

During this non-intentional extended break, much has happend... so much so that one blog will not justify the muchness of much. add to that my gold fish memory, I shall dot point as "much" as memory allows. so here goes...

Oh, Juls has got herself a diary this year... it's hard work keeping a diary but so far, no regrets :)

最近這幾天﹐真的超“哈比”的﹐每天的心情都好到不得了^^ 除了考試有點不太free外其他就沒什麼好埋怨的!

第一﹐我們家感情甜蜜到我雞皮疙瘩掉滿地
第二﹐媽咪贏了melbourne cup﹐她竟然去買了第一和第二名的馬而且還買了不少﹗那冠軍馬竟然還給我來個爆冷門賠率是1比22﹐結果她可愛的孩子們當然就吃紅嘍﹗嘿嘿嘿﹗
第三﹐還剩2個科目就考完了﹗超開心的﹐真是等不及﹗已經買好機票考完後就 和好朋友們去東部度假 (耶﹗) 回來後如果我和元耀的護照辦好的話又會飛韓國和台灣探親。如果沒好就會去上班繼續努力因為我想開公司和買房子。希望能更努力點到時能不用爸媽太多的幫忙﹐和弟弟打拼讓爸媽過更更更輕鬆的日子。




















哈哈哈﹗那雞腳是好吃的軟糖叻﹗結果被我和好友拿來玩﹗其實不該拿吃的東東來玩但真的忍不住﹐太cute了﹗




















近日的新寵兒﹕COACH眼鏡。 我的DIOR﹐CK和GUCCI 都帶膩了所以就買了個新的來戴戴。前天又看中了一個D&G﹐形狀還不錯看但可惜有點紫﹐再慢慢看吧。

i luv taxman - not :)

why? because i received today my tax return for the last financial year and altho it's not as big as i thought, but still a significant 4 digit sum :) so for now, i have nothing against ato - for now. now i have funds to get a new pair of sunnies :D who wants to buy the dior off me?

i am slowly remembering why i don't like summer. its not the weather, not the sun either but creepy crawlies that increase their population by the second. soon, crickets will be coming out noOOoOOooo... *crys*

Monday non-blue

OooOoooOOoo! i'm soo excited on several notes:

1) our flights are confirmed and booked :) can't believe rowas n i took just one nite to book our tix, talk about spontaneity! now i'm excited to be spending time immersed in God's word & sweet fellowships :D just hope adelaide is ready for us! GOooOooOOoo!

2) saturday @ work was memorable. why? i won't say :P too bad if ur curiosity is eating u away!

3) sunday was awesome too, my cousin came over. first we had work then i beat him pretty bad in wii carnival games (i rock), lastly we all went to baddie-O. from him tone of voice i thought he was a pro and that was precisely what i told vicks. too bad he wasn't *lol* i didn't forget to rub it in tho, mike of course blamed it on his "slippery shoes" and "old age" ahahhahah! typical Chi behaviour! However i thank God that victor n jason had the chance to share the gospel with him, tho he didn't sound too receptive so i went to find a quiet place (ie toilet) and prayed. i pray throughout the remaider of his stay he'll understand more!
