will be making lots of these today!

The Wilds - No Good Thing Would He Withhold
No Good Thing Would He Withhold
- by Joe Zichterman (also the song & lyrics writer of A Passion for Thee)
What a wondrous joy to know 'tis true
the Lord our God is good.
Everlasting blessing for His own
is promised in His Word.
Chorus
For the Lord our God
Is a sun and shield,
and He giveth grace and glory.
No good thing will He withhold from them
who will walk uprightly.
What a God we serve!
What a comfort sweet to rest in this
His love will never change.
As we seek each day His perfect will,
our steps He will arrange.

Christine
My sister is my best friend. She is the most caring and hard working out of the 3 siblings and she makes a mean cup of ice coffee! She inspires me to be a better person because of the great qualities God has blessed her with that I shamefully lack but am slowly learning by God's wonderful grace. Anyone who knows Christine will know just how adorable she is and fall in love with her like our family did.
Today she bought an expensive bottle of Q10 co-enzyme for mum. Just a side note here... x-ray results are out and mum will hear more from the doctor this coming Monday. However the long medical word on the letter we received with mum's name on it shocked our family... For the first time in ages I'm feeling scared about tomorrow and I know that Steven is too. But, no one would be as scared as my poor mum... It hurts so much to even try and imagine how mum would feel inside and the physical pain she goes through.... I pray that God can make us stronger as a family for the road ahead and for trust in Him the Great Physician that He will heal mum according to His perfect will and time. Thank God that mum was cleared of breast cancer which would have been a lot more devastating; God's mercy is truly without end.
So mum looked at me, as if to say "where's your act of filial piety?"
"Tomorrow I will buy you Q11" said I quickly which made mum laugh. Right now that's my 2nd best medicine for mum besides prayer - laughter.

15th day of April
It continues to rain in Perth today, I'm ♥ing it.
♥ waking up to the rhythm of raindrops falling on earth outside my window.
♥ that something in the moisture makes me feel much relaxed like after taking a long shower.
♥ the soothing rain which makes my bed feel extra snuggly and warm.
♥ feeling sleepy on a cool rainy night.

Lunch date with mum and dad at Dim Sum Cafe in Northbridge.
Our family does not know how enjoy dim sum like it should be enjoyed. What other people spend an afternoon in their favourite Chinese restaurant, slowly sipping tea and feasting on different assortment of dim sum delicacies, our family's best record is within 1 hour eat and go. You see, we like to have a table full of food. Usually whatever dish (we want) not found in the first portable trolley is ordered immediately. As food make their way to our table, we plow through (with modern table etiquette) every basket of goodies (and this is usually when we make second orders depending on that day's hunger level). At the end of it all we drink tea as if to say that's our dessert. Oh, another thing about my family and dim sum, we aren't at all fascinated with dang tarts or cakes or puddings on the dessert menu.

Pros of our dim sum style: no awkward table moments when 5 people have to share 4 siu mais. Every one has something to eat from at all times.
Cons of our dim sum style: Ordering when you are hungry is terrible idea. Our bills are usually unnecessarily high because there're often left overs no one wants to eat or take home. One time the bill came to $130 (for 5 ppl) yet no one understood why.
I always get this apple and carrot flavour of Calpis or Assam Milk Tea everytime I visit Northbridge.
These are two of my most favourite drinks!

all in a day's happenings
The rain's here.
Something truly incredible unfolded in my car's side-mirror as I was driving home. Each time I so happen to glance at my side-mirror, small bits of the blue sky were quickly swallowed up by fierce looking dark clouds. And just I was nearing my house, barely any blue sky was left that I pulled over to the side of the road and took a picture. Sure enough, the storm's coming for Perth just like the weather people said.
Rainy days are best sleep-in days :)
What the sky looked like at the start of the drive.
